Hi, My name is Greg and I have been interested in space and astronomy
all my life. I built this web site in hopes of getting people involved and
curious about this thing we call the Universe.
I am no professional, so some of the pics on this web site are crude.
Some are form other astronomers and some are from the professionals.
(NASA)
I will deal with astrophotography and space in general, Our own solar
system it's planets and there moons.
Below you will see the scope's I use:
 |
The Scope to the left is
a: 8" LX10
Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope, shown with standard-equipment
equatorial wedge and hand controller, and with LX10 Field
Tripod.
Both are Meade
Scopes:
The Scope to the right is
a: ETX-90EC Astro
Telescope — Maksutov-Cassegrain optical tube assembly
(D = 90mm (3.5"), F = 1250mm, f/13.8) with MgF2 coatings on
the correcting lens and standard aluminum coatings on the primary
and secondary mirrors,
internal flip-mirror system for either straight-through or 90°
observing position; steel-reinforced ABS fork mount with electric
slow-motion controls, setting circles and locks on both axes;
electronic control panel; 4-speed (8x, 32x, 0.75°/sec, 5°/sec)
dual-axis motor drive system.

This Scope is an
AstroView 120ST It has 120mm (4.7") clear aperture but
its multi-coated achromatic objective lens has a focal length of
just 600mm (f/5).
This scope is made by Orion.
|
The camera is an old SLR (Single Lense Reflex) Manual focus with
adjustable expose settings.

Now on to the good stuff, At the right are the links start at the top
and by the time you have finished I hope you have a better understanding
of Space and Astronomy.
Thanks for stopping by:
Greg
